Exercise is essential for all dogs. It helps keep them to keep in shape but is really important for their mental health, too. Getting your dog exercised keeps your dog's brain active and it is great stress relief for them. A dog that doesn't receive sufficient exercise can easily become bored or destructive. It is important that all dogs get a daily walk to keep them happy and healthy. Regular walks not only helps your dog mentally but it is very important for your dog’s health too, as obesity in pets is associated with a number of medical problems including and not limited to osteoarthritis , cardiovascular disease, liver disease and insulin resistance.

Most dogs must be walked at least once daily, although, some dogs may require more walks during the day. Also, dogs need different amounts of exercise at different ages.
